Atheists, do Christians really believe in this whole rapture thing?

How will the earth be horrid if all the crazy hate mongerers that claim atheists are "evil" and somehow cause the worlds problems just disappeared? I wouldn't mind that. A lot of crazy people are indeed religious and they cause problems but they don't want to admit they are causing it and instead point the finger in the other direction. I wonder, did they stone mary in the bible? You know the prostitute mary?
