Why are religious people, particularly Christians, so against homosexuality?

Because that lifestyle is not honoring God. We are living in a sex-obsessed world. I'm a devout Christian and my parents wouldn't agree with me being gay. The Bible says that marriage is between one man and one woman. So I highly disagree with you that Christians are hiding behind homosexuality.
