Stick with law school?

I'm studying law but have 3 years left of a 5.5 year degree. I'm gay. my family recently found out and have made my life hellish. I don't know whether I should just apply for a Bachelor Arts in a year and join the police or firemen. I can move out by myself in a year with government money, but its very minimal, as in I would struggle to keep myself fed. what would you do?
