Gay/Lesbian Christians...?

I always wondered how Gay/ lesbian people who believed in the Christian god felt about homosexuality being an abomination in Christianity. Does it cause you to fight your feelings? Do you think it is not really a sin? etc. This is just out of curiosity. I am not trying to offend any one.
