How dangerous was this?

I was on my way to the vet this morning to drop my cat off, but throughout the trip he was getting quite restless and I eventually had to inject him with a tranquilizer just to keep from swerving off the road. Unfortunately, when I went to grab the tranquilizer gun my cat jumped out of the way and hit the wheel, causing the car to make a U-turn and send us up the highway backwards at 65 miles an hour. I knew I was truly near the gates of hell when Friday by Rebecca Black started playing on the radio. Thankfully, I was able to shoot the tranquilizer at my cat, turn the car to its rightful direction, and silence the hellish ear assault wrought on me by Rebecca Black. Looking back at the situation, I realize that I very well could have suffered a gruesome death. Has anyone else ever had a similar experience?
